Shipping and Return Policy
1. The terms of this shipping policy (the “Shipping Policy”) govern the shipping practices for the www.shumee.in (“Website”).
2. Shumee Toys Private Limited (hereinafter referred to us“we”, “us” or “our”), is a private company limited by shares and incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 with its offices in Bangalore, India. Reference to “you” in this Shipping Policy refers to the users of this Website who have consummated a purchase on the Website.
3. Shipping Policy
(a) We currently deliver products only in the territory of India.
(b) You will not be able to confirm your order on the Website in the event we do not deliver to your area. We are in the process of ensuring delivery all across India and our serviced areas are being frequently updated. We request you to please come back and check if we have begun delivery in your area.
(c) Once your order is placed on the Website and the same is accepted, we will issue an email confirming your order.
(d) We endeavor to ship ordered products typically within 2-3 working days of order placement and confirmation. Upon successful shipment of an order, we will send you the details of the consignment to allow you to check the status of your order.
(e) The typical delivery date shall be within 10 days of shipping and in no event later than 12-15 days in the event of exigencies or delay beyond our control or the control of our vendors.
(f) In the unlikely event that we are unable to deliver within 12-15 business days of placing the order, we will cancel the order and refund any amounts to the same account from which such payments were made from. In the event of part delivery of the order and we are forced to cancel the remaining order we will send you an email informing the same and refund any payment made against the unshipped part of the order to the account from which such payment was made
(g) To ensure efficient delivery of the products, we use only reputed courier agencies.
(h) We endeavor to ship all items in your order together; however, this may not be always possible due to the product characteristics or availability.
(i) All orders will be shipped with an invoice mentioning the price in accordance with the Indian Tax Regulations.
(j) The applicable cost for shipping orders is as follows: we are doing FREE shipping on all our products.
(k) If the order is cancelled, lost or un-delivered to your preferred location, we will refund the complete order including any shipping charges.
(l) If you cancel part of the order, or in the event you return an order delivered to you -shipping charges will not be refunded (if applicable). However, if you self – ship your returns, you will be reimbursed based on our returns policy (given below)

3. Returns Policy
(a) If you receive a damaged, defective product or in the event of your order being tampered with at the time of delivery, please email our customer care at email@example.com to register the reason for returning your order within 48 hours of accepting delivery of such order. Upon verifying the authenticity of your claim, we will determine if your order may be returned. Our decision on the authenticity of your claim shall be final and binding.
(b) In the event of your claim being determined as genuine we will allow you to return the order and we will not charge you for the shipping costs or for replacing the merchandise.
(c) Please place your order that you wish to return/replace in a shipping box with the tags intact and with the original packing and seal the box securely.
(d) We will arrange for the pick –up facility if your location falls within the areas such service is available (mumbai, delhi, chennai and bangalore).
(e) If your location does not fall within the pick-up facility areas you can ship the order to be returned to 40 adarsh vista, Basavanagar, Bangalore 560037. We will process your return within 7 working days of receiving your shipment. Our quality team will check the products to ensure they comply with our returns guidelines.
(f) Once you have shipped the box, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to inform us about the returns shipment. Please include your original order ID number in the email.We will notify you via e-mail regarding the status of your replacement merchandise within 10 working days of receiving your courier.
(g) In the event of exigencies beyond our control or the control of our vendors, we may be unable to replace your order and in such unlikely situation, we will cancel the order and issue a credit note for the value of the cancelled products which will be credited to your account on the Website. This can be used to pay your subsequent bills.
(h) When a discount voucher is used in a transaction, the value of the discount gets split proportionately across all items on the order, according to value of the items.
